Spring Road Trip!

Bah humbug to the weather. What is with this Winter on the even days and Spring on the odds? NOBODY LIKES A WAFFLER MOTHER NATURE!

I am overwhelmed by my really random and long to-do list so I'm doing the next best thing- eating challah bread in bed while I watch Destination Truth episodes. (I may or may not have a crush on the host Josh.)

But I'm going on a road trip with a friend tomorrow to meet up with my familia in D.C. We'd love to hear any suggestions on places we should stop, funny road trip stories, and if you want to send me a road trip playlist I can download to my iPod that's totally acceptable also.

Itinerary:

Atlanta -> Asheville
Asheville -> Greensboro
Greensboro -> Maryland

Hang out and go to the amazing D.C. museums- SMITHSONIAN HERE I COME!

Maryland -> VA Beach
VA Beach -> Atlanta

So if you know any awesome places to eat or see on the way or in any of these towns I'd love to hear it! We went to the farmer's market to get some snacks that might offset some of the fast food we'll be consuming on the road. The challah (by the way I can never say that word normal- it's always CHALLAH! in my mind) is calling me.

I just realized I never tried any of their famous pie...

I *will* one day live in a trailer (preferably a shiny, slightly dented Airstream with Christmas lights all around the top) by the beach and spend my days shell hunting, rampaging the many thrift stores I saw and prancing around in a bikini. No promises on how that bikini will fit (ESPECIALLY not if I continue to indulge my cookie fetish the way I have been lately) but there will be bikinis!
I'll support myself with some form of art and I'm willing to bartend a couple of nights here and there. FYI bar owners: I'm willing to consider being paid in cheap vodka.
