celebrate good times come on

I don't know if I fully planned out just how hard it would be to post while on vacation/ celebrating my birthday but better late than never right?

Anyway, happy birthday to me! 23 was essentially the year where I built myself a cocoon and started a desperately needed healing and growing process. It was hard and ugly but necessary and I'm really excited to see what year 24 brings me.

So to start my journey into becoming a bright and beautiful butterfly, (HA this is SO CORNY) I'm going to spend my year celebrating. I'm going to celebrate little things, silly things, important things. I'll be picking some slightly obscure holidays and celebrating them in some way. It might be with a
new recipe, or an outfit, a song or a full out party. But either way I'm going to make sure I make my own joy and keep reaching towards a life of celebration.

So for the next year I will be posting about two holidays a week and what I did to commemorate them. I'll be posting the monthly holidays I choose on the sidebar so you can join in and create some fun yourself.

So consider this your invitation to the party and I hope to see you all there!
