Resolutions

Mind

Read at least one book a month.
I will write how I feel about the books I read here to keep me accountable. Hmm, should I re-read an old favorite or start new this month since it's a fresh year?
Related- I want to be better about maintaining my long distance book club one of my friends and I are trying to have.

Go back to school to finish my degree.

Body
Stretch in the mornings.

Eat more fruit.
Soul

Be the writer I have always wanted to be.

The painting.
I have had this painting stuck in my head for a few years now. I have the canvas and the idea clearly laid out in my mind- I just need to get started on it!

I really love what Neil Gaiman (one of my favorite authors) writes for his New Year's messages in his blog.

I wish that 2010 (and every year after really) brings laughter- especially that I.can't.breathe. laughter where you think you very well may pee on yourself, delicious desserts that never stick to your thighs, and that at the end of every night you close your eyes and breathe a sigh of contentment because you've had a great day.

  1. These are great resolutions and fully attainable!!

I suggest The Kite Runner or Three Cups of Tea for your book of the month. :) Those are two of my favorites!

  2. I've read the Kite Runner and it made me sob but was still a good read. I have been hearing SO much about Three Cups of Tea lately so I think you've cinched it and it's time for me to bite the bullet and pick it up!
